The Bull 7000
UK Class Association

Reviews

"The Bull is recommended as a touring yacht.  Yet it isn't a boat for the typical touring sailor.... meaning those who use their boat from A to B and consider 7 knots very fast sailing.  The Bull is the boat for sportsmen who like to spend a comfortable vacation, but do not like to cross the Ijsselmeer on a halfway rolled back genoa.  Sailors who, even when on vacation, like to sail fast and spectacularly.  The Bull is their boat: a fast boat which can be safely handled by a crew of two, with proper accommodation." (Waterkampioen, Netherlands)

"The Bull is a very style-led entrant in the sport-boat market which has picked up many additional orders by virtue of its highly modernist and innovative interior arrangement." (Seahorse, UK)

"Young maintains that with so much cruising detail the Bull 7000 should not be expected to match the performance of more dedicated race designs.  However that comment could well be understating the performance of this boat.  Whether intended or not, the Bull 7000 is very quick indeed.  After two test sails, and after observing the boat take part in the Musto winter series race, it is clear that this boat will be very competitive for those with racing intentions." (Boating World, New Zealand)

And finally .....

"When viewing the sale information in the newly formatted catalog, it became a relatively easy process to compare the performance between animals for sale.  For example, Bull #7000 would be in the top 20% of the '97 born calves for birth weight, weaning weight and yearling weight EPDs.  The "P Calving Ease" located in the left hand corner of Bull #7000 indicates that he is an excellent candidate for use on yearling heifers and young cows.  Thus you could categorise him as a dual purpose bull that could be used both for growth and calving ease" (1998 Beef Program Report - Dept. of Animal Sciences, Colorado State University)
